You'll learn about the craft of candle making while you create a soy candle in a gold Christmas bauble jar, plus a pack of wax melts. No experience required - this is a relaxed and festive activity.
What you'll do:
Arrive
Grab a drink, meet your fellow makers and settle in. Many people like to browse the shop for some inspiration.
Blend
Learn about fragrances and blend a scent that's completely your own - or choose from this year's Christmas scents. Will you play it safe or create something unexpectedly amazing?
Pour
Hand-pour your soy candle and wax melts with our guidance. You'll learn about wicks, wax and how to achieve the perfect pour.
Relax
Enjoy the grazing platter, chat and let the wax cool during the mid-session break. This is a great time to share your Christmas bon bon jokes in good company.
Finishing Touches
Learn how to use your wax melts and keep your candle burning beautifully from top to bottom. At the end of the workshop, you'll leave with two soy masterpieces made by you!
Good to know:
BYO drinks are welcome. Think of it like paint 'n sip, but with a fragrant twist. We'll have an ice bucket, sparkling water and glassware available.

Location: 10/1A Blackbutt Road, Port Macquarie. The shop is wheelchair accessible, including toilet facilities.
Who this is for
- This workshop is designed for beginners. No experience is required and we will guide you step-by-step.
- Ideal for individuals, couples and groups. We will be seated around a long table so everyone's included, even if you come on your own.
- Ages 10+ are admitted. Ages 10-15 must be accompanied by a participating adult.
Only confirmed workshop guests will have access to the space during the event. Please contact us in advance if you're bringing a support person to help you participate so we can ensure adequate seating.
Cancellations & booking changes
We love bringing people together for our workshops, and we do everything we can to make sure they go ahead as planned. In the unlikely event that we need to cancel or reschedule, you’ll have the choice of joining the new date or receiving a refund.
We work with small groups, so bookings are final. We’re unable to offer credits or refunds for cancellations or no-shows. If you can't make it to your scheduled workshop, you’re more than welcome to send a friend in your place. Just let us know in writing at help@lunicocandleco.com.au so we can update our guest list and make their arrival go smoothly. If you’d like us to resell your spot, simply give us permission in writing. If we’re able to fill your seat, we’ll happily refund you.
