Let it burn.

Let your candle burn until it has melted fully across the top. This can take a few hours, so don't light your candle if you don't have time to let it melt properly. The first time you light your candle, this will set the 'memory' of the wax and help it melt properly during subsequent burns.

Don't burn your candle for more than 4 hours at a time.

By the time your candle has burned for 4 hours, it will be time to trim the wick to keep the flame at a safe and effective size. A large flame may produce smoke and soot, as well as reduce the scent of the candle and even damage the glass.

Keep the wick trimmed.

Before each burn, ensure that cotton wicks are trimmed to 4mm and the charred bits are snapped off wood wicks. If the wick is too long, the flame will be too large for your candle to burn properly and safely. If it's too short, it won't burn evenly, resulting in wasted wax and reduced scent.

Keep your candle out of breezy areas.

Your candle is able to burn best and produce a great scent if it's not near air conditioners, fans or open windows.

Follow the safety instructions.

Each candle includes a safety label, so be sure to follow the instructions and enjoy your candle safely.
