Join us for a beautifully indulgent candle making experience designed to be shared with Mum.

Spend a relaxed and memorable afternoon with Mum (whether that’s your mum, your partner or a wonderful mother-figure in your life) creating your own signature fragrance before bringing it to life in wax. This workshop is all about slowing down, sharing a creative moment and making something special side-by-side.

During the experience you will:

  • Blend your own signature scent from a curated selection of fragrance oils
  • Choose your jar, lid and label to create the perfect aesthetic
  • Blend your wax and fragrance before pouring your own soy candle
  • Pour a tray of beautifully scented wax melts
  • Give your creations a name that tells the story of your scent

While your candles and melts set, you’ll be treated to a sumptuous high tea, complete with a selection of sweet and savoury delights, including tea and coffee service. It’s the perfect moment to relax, chat and savour the experience together.

You're welcome to bring your own beverages to this workshop. We'll have an ice bucket, glassware and sparkling ice water available. Alcohol may be enjoyed by participants who are 18+.

This workshop requires a minimum of two seats per booking.

Your handcrafted soy candle and a tray of wax melts.

10/1A Blackbutt Road, Port Macquarie. The shop is wheelchair accessible, including toilet facilities.

Simply arrive ready to enjoy a beautiful afternoon of creativity and a little indulgence with Mum - we’ll take care of the rest.

What to Expect
  • Hands-On Learning: No experience required. From blending the perfect scent to wicking and pouring your candle, we've got you covered as we go through everything step-by-step.

  • Duration: Workshops run for close to 2.5 hours. High tea will be served after candles have been poured.

Please note: Ages 10+ are admitted. Ages 10-15 must be accompanied by a participating adult. Only participating workshop guests will have access to the space during the event. 
What's Included
  • Tool Kit: We'll provide all the tools needed for the workshop, including an apron. You'll have a selection of fragrances, jars, lids and labels to choose from.

  • Refreshments: We'll serve high tea after candles are poured so you can relax and enjoy the aromas while the candles cool. We'll also have ice water, glassware and an ice bucket available.

  • Expert Guidance: We're here to help! Get personalised tips and advice to make sure your candle turns out just right.

  • Exclusive Store Access: Enjoy a focused setting for your crafting session, then receive 20% off any in-store product purchases before you leave the workshop.
Cancellations & Booking Changes

We love bringing people together for our workshops, and we do everything we can to make sure they go ahead as planned. In the unlikely event that we need to cancel or reschedule, you’ll have the choice of joining the new date or receiving a refund.

We work with small groups, so we’re unable to offer credits or refunds for cancellations or no-shows. If you can't make it to your scheduled workshop, you’re more than welcome to send a friend in your place (as long as they meet the workshop requirements). Just let us know in writing at help@lunicocandleco.com.au so we can update our guest list and make their arrival go smoothly. If you’d like us to resell your spot, simply give us permission in writing. If we’re able to fill your seat, we’ll happily refund you.
